The XXXII Congress of the EUROPEAN CONFEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN MYCOLOGY

We are very happy to welcome you to a week of exploring the Norwegian funga! August should be an excellent time for species richness and diversity, if the season develops like last years.

The congress will include NSNF’s annual Field Mycology Gathering from Monday 10 August to Wednesday 12 August. Normally, around 40 of our most dedicated members participate.

Our venue is Oslo Folk High School “Rønningen,” which converts into a conference centre during the summer. It is located close to “Marka” (which translates to “The Forest”). Marka refers to the protected forest areas surrounding Oslo, where building and urban development are prohibited. Here you can find approximately 80% of all species recorded in Norway.

Transportation will be arranged for all excursions. For those who wish to explore the city independently, buses run from Rønningen from early morning until midnight to the city centre, with easy connections to tram and metro.

We will have at least five microscopes and several dehydrators available for shared use during the congress.

Please register either as early bird (within 1. april) og regular (within 15. May).  Early bird-registration gives you 5% discount on the full congress fee.

You have two options for registration:

Online payment (direct with credit card)

    Google Form (invoice by mail)

Any questions?   Send to post@soppognyttevekster.no and you will get prompt reply!

    Please check the preliminary programme.

    9 – 15 August 2026
